KINSHIP CARE

All across Scotland, thousands of people care for children because their natural parents are unable to do so. These are often grandparents, aunts and uncles but can also be family friends. People who look after children in these kinds of circumstances are often known as ‘kinship carers’.

Our Kinship Care project is funded by the Scottish Government and offers detailed, specialist advice and support for kinship carers. If you feel overwhelmed about your situation, are in need of advice about how being a Kinship Carer will impact on your life, or if you are worried about how your finances will be affected then please get in touch and our team of dedicated advisers will strive to provide you with the information you need.
